Methods of analysis

For analysis of physicochemical properties of nanoparticles we use following methods and techniques:

  • TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy)
  • HRTEM (High Resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy)
  • XRD (X-Ray Diffraction)
  • XPS (X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy)
  • BET method for surface analysis
  • Gas analysis for oxygen and nitrogen determination
  • SES (Secondary Electron Spectroscopy)

For evaluation of biological activity of nanoparticles we use following methods:

  • full-thickness skin wound model
  • microbiological tests on Staph. albus, E. coli etc.
  • study of acute and chronic toxicity on laboratory animals
  • study of microelement compositions of organs and tissues using AAS method
  • study of physicochemical characteristics and composition of lipids of different organs and tissues
  • other methods
